Question

Importing drone videos does not work

I'm new to editing videos and just purchased Premier Pro.  When I try to import my drone videos (DJI drone) I keep getting the following error messages.  File has no video or audio streams and unsupported format or damaged files.  Do I need to change the video formatting?  I can view the videos on my computer but when I try to import them in Premier Pro they won't import.  Thanks in advance.

    Ann,

Thanks for replying. How do I change this? I right click on the video and go to properties but I don’t see anywhere to change the format. Sorry I’m not very tech savvy.

Go into Explorer  (the Windows file manager) and make sure it's showing file extensions,  then change the extension there.

Exactly what is INSIDE the video you are editing?

Report back with the codec details of your file, use the programs below... A screen shot works well to SHOW people what you are doing - For Windows Internet Explorer press the PRINT SCREEN button on your keyboard, and then do CTRL-V to paste the screen print from the clipboard into a forum message
