Hello!

Could somebody suggest please, how to install True Type font in Adobe Premiere CS3, so I can use it in editing?

The font is downloaded from www.cooltext.com

The thing is it doesn't appear in Font Library in Adobe Premiere, but it does appear in Adobe Photoshop CS3.

I pasted the font in all font folders I could find...

Where could be the problem that I don't see it in Premiere..?

Many thanks!

If you just want to try some fonts out you dont have to install them

Just open the .ttf and then Premiere. When opening the Titler the font apears in the dropdown menu.

It may make no difference at all, but when I add a new font to my system I go to "C" Windows - Fonts, and choose "Install New Font" from the Fonts' window's "File" menu. Perhaps installing the font as opposed to just copying updates a Windows database which would make it available to all programs. This is just speculation on my part. On the other hand, we have never had an issue with Fonts not being available to all programs that use them when we install them.

Like Charles said, all you do is right click the font file (.ttf i think?) select install, this will place it in the folder C:\windows\fonts - alternativley you can copy the font file into that folder and it will have the same effect. If Premiere is already running, just close it and re-open it and the font should be available.

Hope this helps.
