I just intstalled Premiere Pro for the first time. I have the current Intel HD Graphics 620 driver. Premiere says the 620 is an unsupported video driver. The instructions indicate I'll need to install the 520 driver. I understand both drivers have the same core clock speed, but the 620 has more texture mapping units resulting in a faster fill rate. Installing the 520 is a step backwards, is that the only way Premiere will work properly?

Hi Mark,
There might be something wrong there, or maybe the warning box's internal list is outdated for that GPU. I am fairly certain you can install and test it out. Can't you?
Thanks,
Kevin

Thanks Kevin,
I can install the 520 driver then I'm guessing Premiere will be happy but I'm reluctant to do that since Photoshop and every app I have works perfectly with the 620

See if the driver for the 620 works anyway. Can you try it? If it works, I'll report back to the team.
Thanks,
Kevin

Premiere loads and so far appears to run w/o issues, but I'm a new Preimere user and certainly have not done much other than opening a new project. When I run Premiere I get the warning "If you continue with known issues, you may experience performance degradation, instability and data loss”
Thanks for your assistance

It appears there is a problem. I only see the top half of my clip. I was hoping to have a resolution to this issue, if not I'll need to cancel my subscription.
Hope you can help!
Mark

Sorry you are having the same issue, but glad I'm not the only one. Unfortunately no one from Adobe will respond.

I also get the same error message, although as far as I can tell it doesn't affect the performance of PP. It's just irritating getting the message every time I load PP.
