So the iPhone 8 and up will not allow you to record 4k 60FPS or 1080p 240 FPS video unless you have HEFV turned on. Adobe doesn't seem to support this media yet. Is there an ETA on when we will see this?

Tell Adobe. http://www.adobe.com/products/wishform.html I am sure they will be fixing it shortly! (I don't have the iPhone 8 yet but I have used H.265 with no issue. But in the interim have you tried converting it with a video convertor? Try Wondershare video converter:

All-in-one converter to convert virtually all video formats or burn videos to DVD and convert, copy homemade DVDs. I have not tried it for the iPhone 8 so let me know if it helps. Good luck!

I have found a workaround until Adobe updates. It is a pain the butt, but it works without loss of quality.

The Windows Photo App import method (your workaround) did not work for me initially, but I just tried it again and it seems to work.

Thanks man, cheers.

This sucks. I didn't realize upgrading to iOS11 would turn on HEVC. Now I have a bunch of clips I was trying to use in a Premiere Pro CC project that I can't use. Many were slo-motion (240fps) and I can't find a converter for that.

Downloaded a trial of Vegas Pro, but it watermarks and overall sort of sucks.

Even the non-slo-motion clips when converting (using one of these sketchy tools you have to install from companies I've never heard of) end up with low quality.

Unfortunately you can only convert to 60FPS not maintain the 240FPS.

Unfortunately this is not the case with the HEVC from the iPhone 8 and on or iOS 11. And renaming the file to .MP4 makes the video go green.

I have the same problem. I'm using iPhone 7 with iOS 11
