Keep Source Panel Selected After Making Edit?

Is it possible to keep the Source Panel selected after making an edit?

It would be nice if, while doing pulls from a long piece of footage, I didn't have to tab back to the Source panel every time I drop a clip into a sequence.

    Go to preferences and UNCHECK Set Focus on the Timeline when performing Insert/Overwrite edits:

    If you use the insert/overwrite buttons within the source panel it should keep the input focus. If you prefer dragging clips then you can switch back the source panel with a single keyboard shortcut.
