I'm running adobe premiere 14.9. My keyboard has become totally ueless in the program. Even things like space bar to play video and the delete button to delete something from the timeline don't work. I'm running a fresh Windows 10 intallation from barely a month old.

The default keyboard shortcuts are located here:

C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Premiere Pro 2022\Keyboard Shortcuts\en

Paste the below into File Explorer and it will take you to the Preferences folder

%UserName%\Documents\Adobe\Premiere Pro\22.0

Inside the folder above will be your profile folder, open that, and then "Win"

Copy "Adobe Premiere Pro Defaults.kys" from the Program Files folder (above) into the Win folder.

You should also copy that file a second time and rename it something like BjornKeys.kys

Start PP and check the Keyboard shortcuts from the EDIT menu, select one of those two files if one is not already selected.

Would you look at that, it worked! You are my hero!

Can't wait to see what Adobe breaks next in future updates.

Is the keyboard not responding at all in Premiere or not responding in other Windows applications?

Are you certain Premiere has focus when you are pressing, say, spacebar?

Yes, it's working fine everywhere else, like this message I'm typing right now and all windows are highlighting in blue when I press spacebar or delete. Tried different keyboard, different usb ports. Drivers are up to date, firmwares are up to date. Even tried to open an old project. I also downgraded to 14.5 and all the way to 14.0. Same issue.

Be sure to run the Adobe Cleaner after you uninstall the programs and before you re-install them:
Also, reboot your computer between steps even if you are not asked to...
