Mapping Workspaces

I would like to assign keyboard shortcuts to my custom workspaces. I see in the Keyboard Shortcuts window that there are shortcuts assigned for Workspace 1, Workspace 2, etc. on to Workspace 9. Using these default shortcuts opens All Panels, Assembly, Audio, etc. in the order the default workspaces appear across the Workspace panel. But I don't see how to designate Workspace 1 (for example) to my custom MN Edit workspace. Putting my workspace first in the Edit Workspaces window does not make it Workspace 1.

How do I do this without completely changing the default workspaces?

    Correct answer Martinnel

I think I just figured it out and it really is obvious. Workspace 1, 2, 3-9 reference the first 9 workspaces alphanumerically. All I have to do is put a 1 at the beginning of the name of whichever workspace I want the Workspace 1 shortcut to correspond to.

    Duh.

Do I get to mark my own answer correct even if it was a dumb question to start with?

Save the current workspaces as the new ones for easy reset if necessary, then change the preset workspace to suit your needs.

Thanks Jim, but I just want to make sure I understand. If I want Workspace 1 to be (again, for example) my custom edit workspace, I need to choose the All Panels workspace, change it around until it's the way I'd like my Edit workspace to look and then change its name? That seems so backwards.
