Maximizing Premiere Panels

Hey, guys, I´ve been using Premiere in iOS and recently changed to Windows. I use constantly the maximize panel feature through the "´" key. The problem is that this feature only works with one panel in the Premiere that I installed in my new pc (it is the paid cc version obviously). It seems to be locked to the program monitor and this is the only one which I can maximize with the shortcut. It ignores the timeline and other panels even it those are selected.

I don´t know if Windows has something to do with it or if there is a lock, or if my Premiere is just tripping, or if I´m doing something wrong.

Thanks in advance.

O.k, then i would first have started by in Premiere Pro go to Edit > Keyboard Customization and in the find box type maxi. Three commands should it find. Are there any keyboard shortcut mapped to "Toggle Maximize Monitor"? If yes, re-map it to "Maximize or Restore Frame Under Cursor" since thats the one you are looking for.

If that don´t help, follow Ann´s advice.

Hold your mouse pointer over any panel and press the key. The panel under the mouse cursor is the one that maximizes.

Hey, Averdhal, thanks for your response but that is not the problem. I always do what you suggest but Premiere keeps maximizing the same panel, not the one I am indicating. Any thoughts?
