Migrate presets and settings to a new computer

Community Beginner ,

Hi,

I need to migrate my Creative Cloud apps (especially Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Acrobat, and InDesign) to a new computer and I want to keep all of my presets and settings.

Is there any way to do that via CC sync?

If not, are there any files and/or folders that I have to transfer?

It's sad that Adobe doesn't provide any advice on that topic in any of their how-to's...

Thanks for your help, community.

Not really. That‘s about the settings. But there are still so many personal presets like my favorite effects or my Media Encoder customized profiles that I lost last time I tried to migrate to a new computer.

Thanks, Stefan. Yes it is. In a way. All those comments are helpful in a certain way.

What I just don't understand is why Adobe doesn't create a possibility to save and thus later on migrate (if necessary) ALL those different personalized settings throughout ALL Creative Cloud application in one place. I mean, they get a bunch of money from our side every month, and many of their so-called "updates" within the applications make things worse and force us to spend so much more time on learning how to use those newbies. Maybe it would be worth the development time to be spent on such a centralized personal settings site on the Adobe cloud. Just my two cents.

But again: Thank you for your help, Stefan.
