Hi, I made 5 min video with lost of effects (like inverting, dissolving, flashes etc) and want to move it to davinci resolve for grading - but davinici doesn't see many of those effects. What is the easiest way to do it without loosing the effects? thank you for your help!
how are you trying to get it into resolve ? EDL, XML ??
Resolve doesn't like that cause it doesn't like the effects ( not to mention other stuff like titles, etc. )
Best bet is to export your video (media) EXACTLY the same as your timeline ( hopefully that looks good when you play in VLC or something ). Then put THAT into resolve. The effects titles and everything else is then baked into the entire export.
THEN, if you want to finesse the thing in resolve you can make cuts and separate portions of your video to apply what you want as needed to the PORTIONS of the thing you want to manipulate.
