My PC crashes when i try to export video file in Premiere CC

Hi there,

First of all, what a terrible way of communicating with Adobe. I was in a chat-session with someone from customer support, and i told him my problem:
When i try to export video files from Premiere CC my whole PC is crashing... So he could take a look with me with remote software, i said: 'yeah, but my PC will crash so how do i get back to this chat?' He told me to write down my case-id so i could return to the chat, but i can't get back to it, because i can't leave any messages now.

But besides that i'm getting crazy; i'm using Premiere for like 6 years now, never had anything like this. As i said above; my whole PC is crashing when i'm exporting in Premiere CC. I have the latest version, exporting in h.264 mp4.

My PC specs are:

ASRock X99 Extreme4

Samsung SM951 512GB

2 x 2TB HDD Seagate (in RAID 0)

32 GB DDR4 Crucial 2133Mhz

Gigabyte GTX 980ti 6gb

Cooler Master CM 690 III Closed

DVD±RW LG

Coolermaster Hyper T4

700W Coolermaster

When i change "GPU" into "Software only" at renderer in Preferences, i don't seem to have this problem.

I really need help with this.

    Hey i had this problem and didnt know what to do, it happened across all programs. I FOUND AN EASY FIX. 1. Open task manager 2.Click on the "details" tab along the top. 3.Scroll down to your program (premiere in this case) 4.Right click on it and select "set afiinity". Alist of all your processors will show, untick all except about 3, minimum 1. Click ok. 5. Restart your computer, open premiere and export your video,  i hope it works for you

    Taramundi,

    Do you have an integrated GPU in addition to the NVIDIA GPU? If so, can you disable it? Let us know.

    The problem is still not solved. I took my system to the PC repair shop few months ago, he said probably it was my video card. So i bought a new one (MSI gtx 1070). It worked fine for a few weeks, now the same problem is back and it got even worse today: my entire PC crashes during export, and with some projects the PC even crashes when only playing it on the timeline, even when i select the option: software rendering only.

    I don't know what u mean with an integraded GPU?

    I don't think it's software related, because the PC also crashes when playing a game.

    I hope someone has other ideas what this could be.

    My first recommendation is to perform a clean install of Windows 10.  When you do that, be sure to backup important files first, and only reinstall the software you need for film and video production.  Don't install email, office, games or other unnecessary software on an edit system.

    What does Windows Event Viewer say about the crashes?

    I dont know what this means, but i see several errors like this, with all the same General answers?

    Do not count on Windows to be fully up to date when it comes to device drivers

    Go to the vendor site to be sure you have an updated driver for your graphic adapter

    There are also intermittent reports that the newest driver is not always the best driver due to driver bugs or compatibility issues, so you MAY need to try an earlier driver version
