One clip flickers during preview
Please don't relocate this question. The other similar questions I've found are all dealing with post-export, my problem occurs during editing in preview and remains an issue *also* after exporting.
Even while watching frame by frame, the clip flickers (light/dim) as if it were an intentional effect, always flickering the exact same way, like it's embedded. In a single frame, the top half of the image might be lighter or dimmer than the bottom half, as an example, and that frame always looks like this any time I go back to it. Each frame's flicker remains the same. If I remove an effect from the clip in question, the flickering might go away, but it's not consistent as to which effect to remove. This won't work. In fact, I'd like to keep my effects in tact.
I'm not bogging it down with effects, either. This clip has only 4 effects added to it. Not only that, but if the clip in question is sharing the screen with another clip using similar effects, it will cause the other clip to flicker, as well. They do not flicker in sync with one another, either. Both clips are fine without any flickering during the entire first half of the video.
