Plugins for Premiere and AE create Black Screen?

Hi. Recently i've been having an issue with some of the RedGiant Plugins i've had. 
Sometimes when i add more than one effect to a layer, the layer turns black and won't function unless i turn off all the plugins inside it.

This wasn't really a problem in previous versions of AE and Premiere, but it's truly starting to get on my nerves...
