Poor mask tracking results

I'm trying to mask out a section of my clip to color grade it. It's drone footage and when I try to mask, it works, but it doesn't seem to follow my points very well at all. Are there some tips or suggestions you people may have to help?

    You can stop the tracking at any point to adjust the mask then hit play again.

    I know. I just thought the tracking would do a little better of a job. I know mask tracking can be time consuming, just wasn't sure if there is something I can do to help it track better. Does it use any sharpening or contrast effects to help it? I know in AE, you have to precompose the clip to apply the effects for 3D camera tracker.

    If you having such a hard time getting it right in Pr why not use AE?
