    I 've same problems!

Premiere continuosly crash started when I "upgraded" to 2019 apps.

    As qualitytrash I've tried:

    • Completely removing all Adobe Cache files
    • Increase the RAM for premiere (now is 10GB)
    • Premiere removing and Re-installation
    • Updated windows to absolute latest.
    • Updating graphics drivers (AMD FirePro4300)
    • Updating audio drivers

I solved only when I remove my secondary monitor.

Now, I work in Premiere only with a monitor.

I hope problem will solve soon

    Thanks!

I'm experiencing the same issue. I've tried everything but the problem continues. The crashing started when I "upgraded" to 2019 apps.

    Things I've tried:

    • Completely removing all Adobe Cache files
    • Full wipe of Adobe apps using their cleaner tool and re-installation
    • Updated windows to absolute latest.
    • Updating graphics drivers
    • Downgrading graphics drivers
    • Full uninstall of Nvidia GPU and clean installation of latest driver
    • Reverting to adobe 2018 apps (I still get crashing, What???)
    • Full windows Reset (personal files kept, program files wiped)

Right now the most stable I can get with the Adobe apps (I use Premiere and Photoshop most) is with the latest versions 2019 and all my graphics hardware updated. It's bizarre that I still see issues even when going back to Premiere 2018. Everything was smooth as butter until I updated to 2019 and now it seems I can't go back without the problem persisting. The problem is likely a graphics card related issue. It also seems to get better if I disconnect the internet. It's very finicky though, and I can never land on one solution that keeps the crashing from stopping completely. Things that make it crash much faster:

    • Running multiple adobe apps at once
    • Lot's of effects on premiere clips
    • opening Premiere 2018 projects that were converted to 2019
    • Running any app that uses the GPU while running Premiere (for example Blender)

Sometimes the crash is just a quick flickering of the screen and then the app closes. Sometimes I get the crash dialog. I've even gotten several Blue Screens of Death with Graphics related warnings. I thought for awhile that my GPU was going bad or that it was a hardware issue, but I run other GPU intensive apps all day (Unity Game Engine and Blender) without a hiccup. The crash is always when one of the Adobe apps is open. My GPU is on the supported list and my machine is more than up to spec, so I'm not sure what the deal is. It is extremely frustrating though that I'm paying a monthly fee to edit with software that crashes constantly. It literally crashed every other minute as I struggled to finish my last project.

I'm not writing this all to complain, I'm just hoping that it can help be a piece in the puzzle, because others are obviously having the same issues. Right now I'm trying to turn off the GPU in Premiere and use software rendering only. I will report back if that helps with crashing.

My Specs in case this helps:

    Alienware 17

    Nvidia GTX 980M

    Nvidia Driver: 416.94

    Processor: Intel i7-4720HQ

    16GB Ram

Windows 10 version: 1803 (latest update installed 11/14/2018)

    Premiere Version: 13.0.1 (Build 13)

Yes, same issue with the app. Support was useless and wasted lots of time to no avail.

Issue is app crashes when adding legacy titles with East Asian feature enable under graphics preferences.

Error code is 0xc0000005 but no plug ins are installed and graphics card has been disabled to no effect.

    Solution: after wasting so much time repeating the same steps, the support rep gave a practical solution;

Revert back to the older version that works from the Adobe CC app, under manage, previous versions.

    I hope this helps
