premiere 2020 became default app for .prproj files. Can't set it to pp2019

Since my latest premiere software update, all of my projects default to open in 2020 (enven though they were created in 2019, and 2019 was set as default app for .prproj files. When I try to set default app to premniere 2019, it is not even listed.

I am on windows 10. 2019 is instailled but I cant even right click a project and choose open with premiere 2019 because pp2019 is not listed (even though installed).

Instead I have to open 2019, then open project and navigate to it.

Is this a "feature" installed with the latest update, or is my system effed?

then look for Premiere 2019 exe in the root.

when I go through all the step, open with, more apps, choose app from pc and I select the pp2019 executable...it tries to open with pp2020! Seriously, WTF is going on
