Question

Premiere pro 2019 13.1.2 transparency bug?

I just opened up a project that had been built about 2 months ago (possibly on an earlier version of 2019... I don't recall exactly when I updated), and now any alpha overlay (PNG, PSD, etc) lifts the background layer's levels to roughly 3 stops overexposed.  This includes files that previously rendered perfectly on the same timeline, so there's not a problem with the alpha channels themselves.  In fact, if I make any change (position, etc) to the rendered PNGs that were on the timeline, the levels shift as soon as the clip goes un-rendered.  Of course, this is happening while I'm on deadline, so any help will be appreciated.

What settings are you running with in the Program Monitor settings? Composite,  what?

    Update:

I just realized this is happening only on log footage with LUT applied.  As it turns out, the current version of Premiere has altered ALL my Lumetri settings from a custom LUT to Phantom REC 709 Gamma, despite the fact that the custom LUT is still in the Lumetri folder and is accessible through the pull-down menu.  The only reason it wasn't apparent at first is that the timeline was 100% rendered.

Contents>Lumetri>LUTs>Technical, which AFAIK is always where Adobe has wanted them placed.

I should add that the LUT was still shown in the Lumetri LUT pull-down menu; it's just that all of the clips had toggled from that LUT to another one without any action on my part other than upgrading.
