PREMIERE PRO and QUICKTIME

Hi I'm Matt - on premiere pro today I got an error message that said "support for import/export of legacy 32 bit QuickTime media will be discontinues in a future version Prem pro - transcode to non legacy format to continue using the media in PP after legacy support has ended"

Can anyone advise what this means?  Does it mean what i think it means?  That one would not be able to import or export Qucitime media in PP? That does not make any sense...

Thanks for your time and input.
