PREMIERE PRO CRASH AFTER START ON MAC

I try to open the application but it starts up, the main block in the middle of the screen and then it all disappears and a "Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2017 quit unexpectedly." message shows up on the screen.

After Effects, Lightroom and Photoshop all open up with no problem. I uninstalled and re-installed the software but still no luck. Any help?

Thanks,

Olaf

SOLVED!

I deleted the files from iCloud and I already had a folder set on my hard drive, but the program was trying to open through iCloud for some reason... now it opened no problem!

Try holding down the Option key when launching the application - it will reset all Premiere Pro Preferences to default settings.

Hi Snowmandtd,

Have you tried fixing the permissions on your Mac?

Check this blog: Premiere Pro CC, CC 2014, or 2014.1 freezing on startup or crashing while working (Mac OS X 10.9, and later)

Let me know if that helps.

Thanks,
