Red Frames in Premiere Pro CS6 in imported files

Hey,

the dreaded red frames bug has already caused a lot of questions of which I am very aware. Albeit in my case it occured in imported film material already. I am using Premiere Pro CS6 and I do not have the money to upgrade to a subscription plan.

All the files I am working with in this project are just regular video material from a Canon EOS 600D, nothing else and I never had this problem before in the last years.

Do you have a tip on how I can get around this?

Thanks

I also get red frames suddenly, but my clips will also jump around, all glitchy like, then fix themselves. I will try the above fixes and report back.

Hi Pandem,

Delete the Previews, re-render the sequence & check.

Have you tried changing the Renderer?

Is it a Windows or Mac?

What is the GPU? Have you updated GPU driver?

Thanks,

Vidya Sagar.

Hey,

thanks for your reply. It is Windows, with a  NVIDIA GeForce GT 740M, drivers are all updated. It also just occurs in a few videosequences in the project whilst all the others are okay.

Deleting the previews and re-rendering didn't help unfortunately.

Thanks

As Vidya also recommended, try changing your Renderer by going to File -> Project Settings -> Renderer and selecting something other than GPU Acceleration (CUDA) (assuming that's what's turned on).
