Hi,

I trying looking it up, but couldn't find any solution.

I have an old project that I consolidated and transcoded into cineform for easier editing. I would prefer to keep the original files which actually take up less space even if they are not trimmed and delete this entire folder if there's a way to link back to the original files.

Any suggestions? Is it at least possible?

Yes you can:
- make sure the cineform files are offline (not on your system) to avoid Pr to find them.

- Open the project and uncheck file extension when relinking. Pr will ignore the .mov it is looking for and use any file extension it finds to see if there is a match.

Next time use the proxy workflow as proxies are manages much easier:

Thanks a lot. I'll try that and I'll let you know if it works for me.

That was the only time I used consolidate and transcode. I then started to use proxies and eventually upgraded my PC so that I can edit 4K files from an SSD easily.
