Right click broken in Premiere for sequence

Hello,

I'm using Adobe Premiere CC 2018. I'm having this really strange problem that just started yesterday. I have been using the same project file for over a month so I don't know why all of the sudden it's now any issue. Here is what is happening.

When I right click on the current sequence I'm editing in to duplicate it the entire program temporarily freezes with
(not responding) in the top menu bar. I'm on Windows 10 PC. If I wait a while it will finally pop up the right click menu but then when I go to select duplicate it will freeze again and then the program crashes closed. I've restarted the computer 3 times so far.

I then tried several solutions such as creating a new project and importing the sequence into that new project and the same problem happens. I then stumbled upon that if I first close the sequence I'm using I can right click it just fine but it still takes about 1-2 min for the thing to be duplicated.

What's really weird is that other sequences in the original project I can right click just fine and duplicate except the current one I'm working on regardless if it's imported into a new project or not.

Anyone know what the issue is?
