Hello,

I get the following message when starting Premiere Pro on my Mac OS X Version 10.9.5:

Your screen resolution is below the minimum required 1024 x 768.  Please increase your screen resolution or adjust the DPI scaling setting in your Display preference to a smaller size.

Can anyone let me know how to adjust and set up in display so that I do not have to adjust every time I open Premiere Pro

I had the same issue, using my Macbook Pro Retina 13". I went into system preferences (by clicking the apple icon top left), displays, then clicked on "scaled" and chose "more space" this has increased the screen resolution, and I no longer get this warning message.

Just had this issue I was able to resolve it by changing from Default for display to Scaled>####x####. Despite not changing the resolution and just changing the this resolved the issue

(SOLVED for me at least)

I had this happen just now, and my resolution was already set to higher than the Premiere requirement.

BUT, I had my smaller monitor set as my main display, so I simply selected "Make this my main display" for the larger monitor and Premiere was happy again.

(Solved)

DPI settings are in your display settings. It's a setting that amplifies your icons and text and causes a conflict with Premiere. Reduce the scale or size of this setting and restart Premiere.

Windows 10 - same as 8 and 7 ; Right click on your desktop, choose display settings then advanced display settings - you can adjust your resolution there up tothe maximum allowed by your graphics card and screen combination.

My screen resolution is 2560x1440 px and my screen diagonal is 14". The same message pops up for me.

Is your resolution lower than 1024 x 768? you can view your screen size in system preferences > display I believe.

In Display I have two options. one is Scaled and the other is *Best for

display (larger test, Best Retina and more space) *but there is not an

option to choose a resolution. Not sure where to find more options

I found this guy with a similar problem: 1366x768 vs 1024x768 resolution : Adobe Premiere Pro
