Split screen with text

Hello,

I would like to edit a tutorial, and for this I  would like to create a "split screen" effect with the actual video on one side and on the other side put the text describing what I am doing and be able to apply transition to the text only when the explanations change, for an example the text goes up and the other paragraph comes up after, without applying it to the entire half of the screen or the entire screen.

Can somebody help me on how to do that please?

I have premiere pro and after effects.

I know how to do split screen, my question was how to put a moving text on one half of the screen

Dear Emmanuelle E,

Please try dragging the text to the side of the screen you want it to lie on in the Titler itself. If you want it to fly in from the middle or the like, you might try nesting the clip and text object first.

Thanks!
Kevin
