stop the conforming in the Premiere

Can I stop the conforming in the Premiere?
This is a big project that contains a lot of video/audio files and sequences, once I have plenary access to the sequence I need and to the video and audio within it - I want the Premiere to stop the rest of the conforming for the rest of the files so I can work easily and quickly (the conforming takes up a lot of resources from the system).
Is it possible?

There are two things. If you work with compressed audio format like AAC, MP3...PPRO will always conform them to ensure a good playback with the video. The second thing is that PPRO create to every single audio file , a peak file to show you your Waveform on your timeline. This last thing can be toggled on and off in your Preferences. Audio/Automatic audio waveform generation.
