Subtitles in Premiere - Netflix, BBC and other online platforms - EBU-D-TT XML

Hey, does anyone know whether there are any designs on intrudocing SDH subtitles options in the next patches? 

So far the only workflow when delivering subtitles for BBC projects for instance, is to have an external subtitling software, which is very annoying. Would that be hard to integrate a ebu-d-tt .xml export? At the moment the export of sidecar files is very limited.

    It's certainly frustrating when workflows for delivering subtitles to platforms like BBC or Netflix are cumbersome. Integrating SDH (Subtitles for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing) options directly into editing software like Premiere Pro could significantly streamline the process. The current reliance on external subtitling software for such features feels outdated and inefficient. An EBU-D-TT XML export option within Premiere would not only enhance accessibility but also improve the overall efficiency of subtitle delivery. Perhaps suggesting this feature enhancement to Adobe could lead to positive changes in future updates. Also, exploring tools like PikaShow might offer additional options or insights into optimizing subtitle workflows for online platforms.

    Having laborious workflows to send subtitles to Netflix or the BBC is definitely annoying. The procedure could be greatly streamlined by adding SDH (Subtitles for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing) options straight into editing programs like Premiere Pro. For such capabilities, the present reliance on third-party subtitling software seems antiquated and ineffective. Not only would an EBU-D-TT XML export feature in Premiere increase accessibility, but it would also boost overall subtitle delivery efficiency. Maybe bringing up this feature improvement with Adobe will result in improvements in upcoming releases. Investigating PikaShow and other similar software may also provide more choices or insights into how to best optimize subtitle workflows for online platforms...
