successfully changing the source 1080i to 1080p

I have an old  Sony HVR-A1P HDV 1080i PRO camera that is PAL only.  Bought it in 2006. I still want to use it. Yes I know it is a DODO of a camera. My question is when my source footage is 1080i Pal and I want to export it to 1080p PAL  since everything (TV's, computers, mobile devices, you tube, Vimeo) is progressive, what settings do I need to use to make the export successful i.e. the video looking great. Thanks
