System Compatibility Issue - NVIDIA Geforce GTX 760

Hello,

I'm trying to capture a video but got no video on my desktop screen during capturing the video. I hear the sound, but seen no image. When I capture it, and looking at the file it has recorded both image and sound. So no big problem, but I think it would be nice to see on the capture screen what I am recoring.

Reading some forum-posts I thought it could be a thing with my graphic card (NVIDIA Geforce GTX 760) which is running with the latest version. So I removed that and installed an old version. Now, when capturing I get image and sound on my capture screen. But I get a warning message in my Premiere Screen saying:

System Compatibility Report: Video NVIDIA Geforce GTX 760 Unsupported Video Driver.

What to do? Reinstalling the graphic driver to the latest version results in no preview during capturing. But leaving the old driver on my system results in this warning.

Anybody any advice?

You card is obselete: too old to run 2020. Downgrade to 2019 is your only option or get a better card.

What do you mean by capturing? Tape?

Yes, I'm trying to capture an old VHS-tape.

Okay, so I will return to Premiere Pro 2019 so that I can use the newest firmware from my graphic card.

That GTX 760 is not exactly obsolete as it is technically still under mainstream support from NVIDIA. Your PC's analog video capture card, on the other hand, is a different story: Your particular model may produce output that isn't compliant with what newer versions of Premiere Pro and which newer GPUs expected, especially if that card is no longer supported by its manufacturer.

And the GTX 760 has never been among the recommended GPUs listed by Adobe. In fact, none of the Kepler GeForce desktop GPUs are currently among the recommended GPUs as all of the higher-end ones that Adobe had tested have less than 4 GB of VRAM.
