Title Attributes Copy/Paste

Hello There,

I've been creating a bunch of titles for a project and my client has decided that he doesnt like the title treament. I created a new one that he likes and now I have the task of applying those changes to all the created titles. Is there a way of copy/pasting title properties(properties, fill, texture, etc..) to other titles without having to adjust each one individually?

Thanks!

R

Can't agree more.  For Subtitles....it's crazy that you have to then go into and change individual clips and can't just paste new font choice over.

Nope, Indesign is still the way to go.

‌thanks for fast reply. I find it strange that Adobe don't make a "paste attributes" for titles. I have 24 short films that I now need to go in and fix one title at a time. It will take hours..

You might want to try this:

Thanks Ann! I'll check it out but I'm hoping to stay entirely within Premiere...

I have found a way in CC to do this after much handwringing:

Create a new title style with your updated settings.  Put all the titles you want to change into one bin.  Highlight said titles within the bin.  Click on the new style you just created in the title style window.  All your titles should change (at least that's what happens with mine).  I'm on Premiere Pro CC 7.2.1 (4).

Hope this helps.

Nevermind, I thought it worked but it does not.  I tricked myself, hoping against all odds it worked, into believing it did.  Why this feature is not available is anyone's guess since anyone, literally anyone, who has ever edited has had to deal with changing a bunch of titles' styles.

You can create a new Style and apply that to any selected text, but as the text must be selected, it's still done one title at a time.

What we need here is a new Global Style feature, such that any titles using that Global Style will be updated with any changes made to that Global Style, even across projects.  Sort of a CSS for titles.  Please let Adobe know you want this.
