Unlinking audio and video

I often have 20+ clips on the timeline and need to remove the original audio from all. I cannot find the Unlink command under the Keyboard Customization... in CS4. Earlier versions had it. Am I going blind or it's just not an option to make a shortcut for this? Also, is there a way to unlink multiple clips at once?

If, by chance, you are using Snow Leopard on a Mac you can hold down the OPTION key and left click drag through the audio portions of multiple clips on the timeline and clear/delete.

It's not my method at all. I was lucky enough to have it pointed out to me by a friend.

Hell the first I didn't figure out the ALT key until a year ago after I had been using CS3 for months. It was like a revelation. That and finding out the ALT key and the mouse wheel zoom in/out of the timeline. There's a few shortcuts like these that should be put in BOLD in ADOBE manual.

    Petr,

You can also leave them alone, but Mute the Track(s), that they are on. I'll usually do similar to you, when I only have a few, and get lazy and hit Mute, when there are more. To get 'em all, Josh's method is perfect.

Hold down the alt button then pick they audio or lasso a group of audio and they will become unlocked. You can also tight click and click unlink. I find using 'Alt' key is the fastest most of the time.
