Video is glitchy

Question

I'm currently editing on my M1 MacBook Pro. I have a footage that my friend had recorded for a group project. When I was editing, the video was glitchy. I've check the original file and there were no glitchy frame. When it was imported, it seems to be always glitchy. I've been dealing with this issue for a week and have no good solution to fix it. I've tried restarting, closing premiere, rendering it, and many more but there were too many glitches. Can anyone help me?

We're sorry about the poor experience. We're investigating a similar issue. Are the media files captured on Sony A7S III or FX3? If so, please try to transcode the files using any external transcoder like HandBrake & then import in Premiere Pro.
