Video made on Premiere Pro won't copy

Hi All

slightly strange issue, ever since the most recent update, no video files I make in Premiere Pro CC will copy to any other devices, constantly says there isn't enough room, regardless of how much free space is available. I tried copying a 4gb MP4 file to an empty 16gb stick, then tried formatting it, then tried moving it to a 4TB drive that has about 70% free space and same message. Tried running off a different format and am getting the same response.

Can anyone shed any light on this?

You're saying you can copy any random 4 GB MP4 file to another drive but you cannot copy a 4 GB MP4 file that you output from Premiere Pro to another drive? Please upload some screen shots of the error message that your operating system throws when you try to copy the MP4 file.

Correct - sorry in bed now (as am UK) so will have to update the screens tomorrow,  however I have 3 specific files (MP4) made since I updated that won't move off my machine, I can move any other files and video files made previously onto the memory sticks or hard drives but these 3 new ones I need won't even though there is space. It just says 'the file is too large for the destination file system - even though it shows the file as 4.90gb.

I am currently trying to export straight to the memory stick - which was working but is obviously going extremely slowly.

I did notice that in the Premiere pro timeline they are showing as Yellow for the render status so not sure if that is somehow linked but thought I would mention it.

USB sticks are often formatted as FAT32, which has a 4GB file size limit, which may be the issue. You can reformat to either NTFS (Windows-only) or use ExFAT and then it will work on Mac or PC.

    Thanks
