Question

Viewing a GUI for effects placed on clips only

Is there a way to view the plugin user interface for an effect you've placed on a clip?  I know when I place a plugin, say on the audio track channel, I can double click the plugin name and a GUI pops up.  I can't figure out how to do this for clips.  I am trying to do some EQ on one of my audio clips, but I don't want it to be applied to the whole video.

Thanks for the help!

I'm sorry, I should have been more specific.  In the effects panel I do see the adjustable parameters, but it's not really a GUI...it's just sliders.  When I place an audio effect on the Track mixer channel, I can double click the effect and a user interface will pop up.  This is a lot more helpful to visually see what's hapening than the effects tab that has the sliders.  Does that make sense now what I'm asking about?

Only a few audio effects have a Clip FX Editor.

It should appear in the Effects Panel if you applied it only to the clip.

As soon as you apply a native (Adobe) effect on a clip it pops up in the Effect Controls.

Or are you asking about third party plugins?
