Weird change in voice when playing an audio

I've been having this problem from the beginning of  the purchase of this product, whenever I import a .mp3 audio file in Premiere Pro CC 2015.3, the voice of the artist & background music changes into a weird noise, I tried checking the audio file before importing & the audio seemed to work perfectly before importing it to the timeline, I didn't touch the sound settings not even one bit, that's not my first time using Premiere Pro, I used to edit on the previous versions & they seemed to work fine.

I'm using:
Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2015.3
Operating System: macOS Sierra

MacBook (13-inch, Mid 2010)

Processor: 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo

Memory: 2 GB 1067 MHz DDR3

Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce 320M 256 MB

I tried deleting those 2 files, but nothing worked. Then I made a new project so I can make a separate sequence for the audio & it turns out that the problem was with the sequence settings...Everything works fine now & now all I need to do is just export the video then import it in the audio's project.
