Correct answer Richard M Knight

I still don't understand what you mean :/ What do you mean by channel here? Sorry if i sound noob.

Moat cameras have 2 or more audio tracks which often are fed with different signals. Camera audio track 1 might be the camera mic and track two might be a radio mic, or the two tracks might be a stereo signal. This option in Premiere looks like it gives you the choice of which camera audio track it uses to sync the clip.

Not sure, as I never use Multi-camera, but it looks like it selects which track Premiere uses to sync the clips, either 1 or 2 or a mix of them both.

I don't believe that's correct Richard.  In order to sync multiple clips, PP would have to use every track.

What I meant was which channel of each clip, Track 1 perhaps lav mic, track 2 camera mic or a mix.
