Wheres the title option?

I'm using Premiere Pro CC 2017 and there's no title option anywhere, can somebody help me with that?

There are two options for titling in PrPro 2017, the older "Legacy Titler" found in the File menu as mentioned above, and the EGP (Essential Graphics Panel). For many installations, that doesn't seem to automatically appear, but you can find it in the Window menu.

I suggest making a custom workspace for the old "Legacy" titler, saving it so you can access it easily at need. Also, on the "Overview" page for this forum, there are a number of FAQ's on the new EGP, and I do strongly recommend you read through them, as they give good information on how to get a good workspace using that setup, and the basics of starting in it.

The EGP is over time going to be a major and powerful graphics "engine" for editing, well past a simple "titler" effect ... but will take another couple releases to get the features where it's going. For now, once you figure out how to use it, it has more capability than it seems ... but it is a very different beast.

These are some tutorials I recommend to get going with the EGP ... the first is a quick over-view, the second by James Strawn of the development team for the EGP gives another good over-view. The last two by reTooled.net are longer and well-detailed on how to use most of the current capabilities of the EGP. Watching these may take 40 minutes or so, but would save you a TON of time as you work.
