Windows XP System 32 bit, How to reinstall Premiere 6.5 with Tools, and breakout box, What Order to Install?  I got it installed but cannot get the 1394 EE to work with my Sony VX2100 Camcorder, that I use to use with the System, until I had to put a New HD in it because it Crashed!   I use to you it for years, until it crashed. How can I get the 1394 EE Fireware to work again?  I also use Adobe Premiere 2018 also.

But I need to get my old System Window XP 32 bit System back up and running again. Do anyone have the Setup to make my Sony VX2100 Digital Camcorder, Fireware Capture footage again? I need the Setup because I cannot get it to work again!  Can anyone email me or call me and tell me what I am doing wrong? charlespratt1977@aol.com  704-460-1237  Thanks

if the firewire was built into the motherboard, you'll need the old drivers for it. it will show up in device manager as a yellow triangle or unknown device. also, premiere used to have a generic dv detect feature. you may need to google which protocal people said worked for that camera's response.

It's somewhat surprising that you get it to install again. You have several things working against you being that Adobe doesn't support the 6.5 version anymore and that you're working with 32 bit. You may want to check the settings box in your capture panel to make sure that it is set correctly for the video which you would like to ingest dv or hdv.
