I'm not sure if it was the newest update, or one before this newest one. but I'm no longer able to render any videos successfully. even if I make no changes and just try and export. I used to be able to render 5 minute videos in just a few minutes. now it takes hours to get to 30 some percent and then get stuck. I'm using a Google pixel running the newest Android

Hey guys,

I've tried to export my project on Adobe Rush multiple times on my Samsung S23 FE, but it keeps on crashing and it gives me the error "Some error occured, please open project again...".

Any help will be very much appreciated!

Hi @ed1t0r,

Thanks for writing in. I think your device might be too new for Rush or is shooting footage that the app cannot process. May we have more information about your media? Run it through Media Info (freeware) in tree-view to see the details of the media type. I hope the community can assist you. Sorry for the hassle.

Take Care,

Kevin

Hi,

First of all thanks for the answer. The video clips I've used in my project use the format MPEG-4.

The adobe rush app on my phones won't render my videos.

It freezes at the 1% mark

Any solutions??

Hey Andy,

Could you provide more information about your system (or device) and media? I hope the community can help you with more details. I would check the media settings. If you are shooting with a new phone and higher quality video, try shooting H.264 instead (called "most compatible" mode in iPhone settings). Newer 10-bit HEVC files might not work. Using 8-bit media can often help. Sorry for the issue.

Thanks,
Kevin

I upgraded my pixel and now it's taking literal hours to render a 1 minute video?

Hi @Bernard24018860tqys,

Sorry for the issue. I am not sure why you're receiving such unexpected behavior. It may be that your device is not yet supported: https://helpx.adobe.com/premiere-rush/system-requirements.html

Otherwise, you might try deleting excess files on your phone, trying a different export preset, or another project that is shorter in duration and with fewer effects. Is it working, then? Let the community know.

Thanks,
Kevin

I have a pixel 8 pro and everytime I render it gets stuck at 1% or 5%

Please help. I've reinstalled and tried several times. My phone is new and plenty of space. The project isn't even big. Only running 60 secs with one layer and and audio track. Extremely frustrating adobe

Hello @Ryan Toms@paull64123477@Hannah370160541tmk, & @Willie Hulk,

Thanks so much for the message. I'm Kevin from support; I'm one of the moderators here. I hope to assist with this problem.

First, please check Rush's system requirements to see if your phone is supported. If your device is not listed, that could be the reason you are experiencing unexpected behavior, like incomplete exports. Another reason could be tied to the HEVC codec. Try shooting H.264 instead.

I'm currently unaware of any workaround for your export issues. Users working with supported devices and workflows aren't seeing such issues.

I hope the development team will comment on the unsupported status of current devices.

Thanks,

Kevin

That's incredibly frustrating and disappointing that the app isnt compatable with new phones. Hopefully there's an update soon, otherwise you guys will lose a hell of a lot of customers (who have now lost their work from not being able to export). I am unsubscribing and cancelling my memberships now that theyre useless. Anyone here with a pixel have recommendations on another video editing app to use?

Good evening.

It's been 6 months since I can use Adobe Rush on my Sony Xperia Pro 1 android phone, before I could export without problems now in production it stops at 7% and the app crashes. It's really frustrating to have to pay for your subscription and not be able to use it! You can solve the problem!

Update:

It doesn't even work on my Samsung tablet!

Solve it now!

(First, I can see that you're new to posting here and very frustrated, so you might not realize that this is a user-to-user forum where sometimes an Adobe employee might reply. I'm a fellow user here to help and not an Adobe employee. They have an Adobe logo on their profile pic and their status is "Adobe Employee.")

So, I checked the Premiere Rush system requirements. I don't see your particular phone listed, so there may be something about the hardware that isn't supported. And you can check if your Samsung tablet is listed.

As a paid subscriber, your mobile projects can sync to the desktop and you could try exporting from there.

Hello. Thank you very much for your reply! Before the latest updates I was able to export correctly to my phone. It also doesn't have different hardware from other compatible phones. I don't know what problems there are but I don't think it's because of my phone. Also because PlayStore clearly says "installable on your device". I hope adobe system solve the problem
