Rush keeps crashing when I try to create a new project with videos

I bought a new laptop and downloaded Adobe Premiere Rush again to edit videos that I make, but I have problems actually getting the videos into a project. Whenever I attempt to import a video, the app freezes and then crashes. This only happens with videos and I can import png images normally, but whenever I open my folder with my videos, the app crashes. It even does this with the sample media that come with Rush.

Try updating GPU drivers, @JavierBB. You want the studio drivers, not the game-ready ones. Then, report back. I hope it works!

Thanks,
Kevin

Hi @akshat_3401,

I see. What kind of computer is it? You might only have the iGPU from Intel. Try updating that driver. Here is a link to the Intel driver site. If you have a different graphics processing unit, let us know. I hope we can help you.

Thanks,
Kevin

I tried to update them but Rush kept crashing even after updating them. I might've not done it right though.

Try a clean installation of the studio driver from the NVIDIA site: https://www.howtogeek.com/clean-install-nvidia-amd-graphics-drivers/

See if that works for you, @JavierBB!

Thanks,
Kevin
