A shooting checklist is crucial!A shooting checklist is crucial!Now that your camera settings are correct, take stock of any helpful items you might want to bring to the shoot. Things like: a tripod, some lights, and a microphone.

Summary:

 

It is important to take stock of the gear you have on hand. Create a list with pencil and paper, then, take a picture of your list! That way you can consider the various equipment that can help you get better shots. You can choose whether you want a full complement of gear, or a small package you can strap to your back or carry in your hands. With Premiere Rush, most content creators really appreciate a small, light package that has a good deal of capability.

 

A checklist can also handy at the shoot when you are wrapping out of a location. It helps give you peace of mind that all your expensive gear is accounted for. Furthermore, you probably want to put your name on each piece of gear, especially if you are going to be on location with other content creators and to keep clear as to the ownership of each piece of gear.
