Adding Favorites Section

Guest

I'm currently working with Flashhelp as our primary layout but we are considering changing it to a webhelp with the hopes that it will move a little quicker for people with slower computers. Does anyone know if this will actually make it move any better for people with older computers?

Thanks,
Mike

Not sure there are many statistics available Mike but if the users don't have to have flash it would certainly seem to suggest so. There are so many factors that affect performance though. Could you generate Webhelp and run a limited trail on one or two older PCs.

How about adding a favorite section. I've seen madcaps that had a favorites section, is there anyway to add one to flashhelp or webhelp?

If you are happy to spend money on RoboServer, I believe that is one of the features it offers.

If you want it in standard webhelp or flashhelp, you'll need to ask for it.

It is a feature in Adobe's .AIR help.
