Hi all,
when a topic has not been rated yet, the stars on the upper right corner are next to invisible. No user will ever find them. Is there a way to modify this feature? Perhaps there is a script that can be changed somewhere?
I would also like to add some explanatory text (e.g. "Rate this topic:"). Also I would prefer a separate information about other user's rating, again with explanatory text (e.g. "Average rating: 3/5").
Currently you see only stars with no text. At first they display the average rating and after you rate yourself they display your own rating. Nobody whom I have shown this without explaining understood that this is a rating feature and how it works.

I already tried this, but when I select a custom image then it is displayed faded out nevertheless until a rating is given. Have you succeeded in changing the appearance?

I just found out how to do it! At least it is possible to place some text and make the stars a bit more obvious.
Edit the image BreadCrumbBar_BG.png in the skin subfolder. This is streched out to fit the background, therefore rescale it to the width you require. It must be displayed 100% without scaling. Then you can place some text into this background image and also e.g. highlight the stars with a white background area. After saving, open the skin again in the editor. Make a minor change (I changed one of the colors, then changed it back again) and close. Robohelp will compile the skin and use the new version next time you generate & install the air help.
