Hello all...

So basically I have published a webhelp on to our live site - and people seem to think that it is alright. Hurrah.

The one thing they have asked is that sometimes they find a useful section and want to make a link to it, or save the location. However, at all times with a webhelp, the link is simply www.companywebsite.com/help.html/index.html.

Is there any way you can think of to allow people to see exactly which topic they are currently in, rather than this index file? I can't think of a way.

cheers for any help...

    hey there,

    When your user cllicks on the help link does it open in a new window?

    If so they will be able to see the url of that specific topic. they can copy and paste that into their browser and then save it to their favorites.

    @robospnac

    WebHelp always displays the address of the start page.

    Hi,

    See http://www.wvanweelden.eu/robohelp/scripts/toolbarscripts.

    Note that Chrome does not support adding bookmarks/favourites through JavaScript. The script alerts users to set the bookmark manually, but you can amend the script to show the correct URL.

    Greet,
