Cannot Load Project into Robohelp 8

We have legacy help projects from the original Robohelp. I tested Robohelp 7 and got my largest project up and running & compiled it. However, we were forced to purchase Robohelp 8. When I try to load or import one of my old .hpj projects, the dialog box loops back over and over again and eventually Robohelp 8 freezes up. These are Word documents, also dating back to earlier versions of Word.
(PS - this adobe website doesn't appear to be operating very well either - any ideas on that?)

    Welcome to the forum

    It's early days for RH8so this will be a bit of trial and error.

    The problem occurs if you open RH8 and browse to the the HPJ for the project, correct?

    What happens if you try to open one of the supplied projects?

    Can you create new projects?
