Change link to Word document

Hi,

I  have a Word document inked into my project. Now I need to create a second chm from the same project. I need to reuse a lot of topics from the linked Word document. But because of the new requirements I need to change some tiopic titles etc.

I was hoping I could 'unlink' the Word document and use the topics as if they were imported instead of linked. That would give me more options to change topics as required to make them usable for both chm files.

Is this possible?

Thanks

    Hi there

You should be able to make copies of the resulting HTML pages, then import the copies into a new project and change as you see fit. Wouldn't that work?

    Cheers... Rick

    Hi Rick,

In the topic list, if I right click on one of the topics, the Duplicate topic item is greyed out. Does that mean I have to copy them outside RoboHelp, e.g. using Explorer, delete the folder with the linked topics and then import the new topics?

    Thanks,
