Hello,

What is the easiest way to create same help in different languages?

Let's say I create help in English, and than I want to create that same help in some other language. How to do it?

Also, I don’t translate it my self, so what is the easiest way to sent the content of help to translator and import it back into RoboHelp.

Thanks for answers

Thanks, that answered the first part of my question.

I don't know much about programing, or XML and the translator knows even less. Before, we send them manuals in as .doc files for translation and even then they would mess something up with formatting. I'm trying to find out if there is a way to "lock" things they should not mess with and leave them only plain text for translation.

I hope you understand what i mean, and thanks again for the answer

I don't know much about this area but I think the problem you are concerned about is one of the reasons for using specialist translation agencies who know what to touch and what not to touch.

Don't forget you TOC and Index need translating.

Also the agencies have methods of being able to identify changes next time so that you only get charged for that.
