Difficulties with publishing Webhelp

New Here ,
Dec 16, 2012 Dec 16, 2012

I am facing difficulties with publishing WebHelp. Doing so I receive the message: "Publishing stopped. Failed to create .DS_Store".

At the same time I can publish easily using my ftp client (Filezilla)... But it would definitely be much simpler publishing directly with RoboHelp. Does anyone have an idea what could help me?

Thx a lot and best wishes!

What happens if you try to publish to a local location?

Everything works fine then. Even if I publish from the local location to the WebServer with a FTP client it works fine.

And it has worked before at least once. I wonder whether it might have to do with me using a Mac with Windows as a virtual machine on parallels. Or may there be some permission issues I should look for with the WebHosting?

Using a Mac with Windows as a virtual machine may well be the issue but I really have no knowledge of this environment so am unable to help further. Perhaps someone in your IT department could help out?

Given that it has worked in the past, my money is on permissions having changed. That too means talking to IT. Sorry about that.
