Drop-down Text conversion - FM to RH

Hello, I am currently using TCS 2 and am trying to create drop-down text/captions for the first time. When I created the Dynamic HTML Effects in FrameMaker, I see that two new paragraph tags were created. This means that i need to map those tags to RoboHelp paragraph tags on the Conversion Settings screen. Here's my question - is it possible to have the  drop-down text contain multiple paragraph tags? For example, if my drop-down caption is a Heading 4, is it possible for the drop-down text to contain a Heading 5, body text, and bullets? Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Renee, I'm having exactly the same issues in TC4. I wonder, did you persevere with this and find a solution? I'm new to mapping too so any advice would be very welcome.

So far, i haven't received an answer to this question. Does anyone know of another forum or resource I can access to get help?

Have you tried experimenting with a sample doc and bringing it into RH? What were the results?

Hi Jeff. Thanks for responding. Yes i did perform a test. The drop-down functionality works fine. The problem I am having is maintaining the formatting of the drop-down text.  When I created the drop-down caption and text in FM, two new paragraph tags were created. Back in RH, I needed to map those tags. The drop-down caption was easy to map because it was just a heading. However, I'm not sure how to map the drop-down text since the text contains various paragraph styles (body text and two different bullet styles). For my test, i mapped the drop-down text to the [Souce] RH style (I wasn't sure what else to map it to). In doing so, the text alignment/font/bullets/etc. look funny (the two bullet styles are alligned with each other and there is an "n" instead of the bullet symbol. It seems like perhaps the drop-down text style overwrites the individual styles I have mapped in my project. BTW, I am fairly new at FM/RH integration, so might not completely understand the nuances of mapping. Thanks in advance for any assistance you provide.

I am not a FM user so I cannot answer your question as posed. However, I can say that a dropdown can contain whatever you might otherwise put directly in a topic so heading levels, images, tables and suchlike are fine.
