Expanding hotspots lost when move to RoboHelp 10

I had an RoboHelp project, compiled to a CHM, from years back, built with RH 9 (I think).

I am adding some new information to it, but I note that the expanding hotspots no longer work.  The information is there, because in design mode I can right click on a trigger word and select Text Popup Properties... or Glossary term properties and a popup appears with the expanded text.

However when I compile and run it and click on the same word, nothing happens.

Is there a way I can globally re-enable them?  There are hundreds of them, so I don't want to edit them all individually.

Hi there

You must be talking about the ORIGINAL version 9!

Try clicking Tools > Update DHTML... and see if that resurrects the functionality.

Cheers... Rick

Many thanks Rick.  I did this and strangely it did indeed activate the 'Glossary term' hotspots but not the 'Text popup' ones.  In the original CHM both types behave identically, i.e. they expand inline, they don't create a popup.

When I created the original Help many years ago I was probably unaware of the difference.

I found Tools --> Glossary Hotspot Wizard, which has done most of the repair work for me.  I am just going round and manually 'mopping up'.  Not perfect, but better than the two days I was fearing!

Thanks again mate.
