Favorites tab

I turned off the Glossary and Browse Sequence options in View\Pods\Project Set-up\Windows\User Guide by right-clicking on Properties\Tri-pane Tabs and Windows. But not the Favorites option. Will my developers have to distribute Adobe's free HHActiveX.DLL for the Help file to display the Favorites tab?

Hi there

Nope - Favorites is a standard Microsoft HTML Help function and isn't related to HHActiveX whatsoever.

Cheers... Rick

thanks.

Which Windows Properties are Windows functions and which ones require Adobe's HHactive. dll or some other file? Where does it say that in the RH file?

Hi again

The only items that require the additional DLL are Browse Sequences and Glossary tab.

And it is only needed for CHM output. WebHelp and FlashHelp are fine. Even if these items are used.

Cheers... Rick
